Przekaż informację zwrotnąI had a terrible experience at this restaurant on two separate occasions. The first time was when I attempted to do a click and collect order. When I arrived at the designated time to pick up my food, I was told that they had not even started cooking it yet. I had to wait an additional 35 minutes for them to prepare my order. The second time, my family and I went to dine in at the restaurant. The starters were delicious, but our main dishes came out only 6 minutes later. The salmon was undercooked and the ribs were cold. If there was an option to give a zero rating, I would do so. I will not be returning to this TGIF in Guildford again.
The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium rare, but it came out extremely rare and with a lot of tough gristle. When I raised this issue with the manager, he simply said he couldn't control the quality of the cuts from the butcher and claimed there wasn't much difference between medium and rare. As a consolation, they offered a discount on the garlic bread. Not exactly exciting.
Disgusted at the way TGI Fridays Guildford has handled my complaint and still nearly 4 weeks on has not refunded me the money owed. The whole experience the evening we visited was unacceptable. Dirty plates, long waits, inedible food that was cold and literally stuck to the plates. Oh and a chicken burger that honestly smelt like it was rotten. This was all brought out over an hour after luke warm starters that were delivered after multiple times of asking. The manager of the evening chose to stay away from our table after I explained to her that one of the kids meals had come out dirty with old stuck cheese and mayonnaise to the plate. The 2 kids meals were brought to the table 30 minutes before any other meals had been put down, with missing parts of their meals too. We repeatedly asked for the manager but she disappeared behind the bar and decided to stay their making cocktails possibly to avoid the situation. Dan had stepped in and come to sort the situation. I had been told to expect my refund within 3 to 10 days, still waiting on this to this day after multiple times chasing and even receiving calls from the store telling me it was in hand before Christmas. Disgusted at the whole thing, we have been to TGI many times before and never experienced such poor service. Safe to say will not be returning.
I visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the experience. The food was not cooked properly and we had to wait over an hour to receive it. I do not plan on returning in the future.
The food was awful. It was all cold and a lot of it was not moving where it had been left out for ages. The cocktails where essentially just ice and undrinkable, they had not melted at all the whole meal...might have something to do with the heating being broken and as we were sat by the front door we had to keep our coats on. The only edible meal was the fahitas however she has subsequently been throwing up. The toilets were grotty and had never seen a mop. Soggy toilet paper all over the floor and the sinks were covered in grime. It's a shame as the waitress was really nice and it's a shame. Please consider cooking the food properly and not leaving it out for hours so that the ribs resemble a dog treat and also please clean the toilets.
