Laneway Tap & Grill - Guelph

I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place. Service is ridiculously slow, horrible atmosphere, prices are high for poor quality food.But the most unacceptable problem is food handling practices are non existent. If you have allergies or food requirements do not eat here! When your meal arrives with an item in it you can't eat, they won't remake the item. They will pick out half of the item you can't eat and send it back to you.Management have zero customer service skills and refuse to acknowledge when they are wrong.If you are looking for a very low class redneck dump this is your place.I will never return!

The Laneway is pub fare and the food has always been very good. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

Finally, a place that makes their own burgers and caesar salad dressing! The Superstack is a double patty burger with bacon and cheese, served with fries that are really good too. The caesar salad had real bacon and homemade dressing, something that most restaurants don't do anymore.

Nice job a little bit of a hide and seek to find this place but well-worth it_We had two small plates - Caesar and fried cheese and fish of the day -

Difficult to find place It's behind a re-consignment store _Seared Scallop - small scallops but perfectly seared with rice cakes and veggies.
