The bbq was so good... It's a must try for upstate ny, with a lot of beer options. All the staff were super friendly. Very friendly bartender. Pet friendly, will get doggy treats too.

The taste of KC rib was so delicious. It was impressive. I ordered a platter where you could taste 3 pieces, but the KC ribs were so delicious that I ordered a half size separately. It was delicious with cole slaw and cream corn on the side. Highly recommended.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?? So, I’m riding home from the racetrack and as I cruise past PJ’s, and I notice the parking lot is practically empty! On a Thursday night?? I immediately do a U-turn to capitalize on this good fortune!! But wait. As soon as I see my order presented to me I immediately notice this ain’t the same PJ’s I’ve loved for years and despite a two year layoff, A LOT has changed!! First! I ordered the classic half chicken/ half ribs dinner plate with sides of corn on the cob and curly fries. To begin with, the amazing ribs I have enjoyed for over 23 years tasted NOTHING I have ever enjoyed before. Not only were they pedestrian (and dry at best), but today’s PJ’s now serves ribs HALF the size of what was standard back then. My side of chicken was equally tiny which means a pidgeon somewhere gave his life for me. It wasn’t as bad the ribs, but was gone in two bites. The only redeemable selection was the corn on the cob. Despite the corn being cooler than room temperature, my butter patty eventually seeped and “melted” on the cob. The cornbread was decent, but I was already pissed off that my dining experience- which came to a total of over $33- so I was unfairly judging this part of my meal. So next time you’re driving by the once- famous and heralded PJ’s on Route 9…. KEEP GOING! There are so many other options nearby that will make your experience enjoyable- just not there!! Oh! And btw- forget about WiFi.. that was weak as well!
