Camping Les Granges - Groléjac

This campsite does not deserve 4* We stayed there for 3 weeks in August and we are still wondering how this campsite and its managers were able to obtain this ranking... Unqualified and very unpleasant staff (especially at the swimming pool), very dirty swimming pool, we are asked to wear a swimsuit (no swimming shorts) for reasons of hygiene but no member of staff cleans the swimming pool and its surroundings daily. My son fell several times because there is moss around the pool, rather than cleaning we were asked to avoid walking in this area... funny answer! Restaurant/bar to avoid There is no network in the campsite, wifi is payable but does not work despite our numerous reminders to the director, and no reimbursement from the campsite. Certain slides (CapFun type) are prohibited for children under 1m20, cameras are present to flecce and I mean flecce vacationers. In short, the evenings with competent external professionals and the location of the campsite in no way make up for its poor management. A piece of advice, move on!

We spent our vacation there with two children on site. The toilets and local dishes were not clean at all! To eat in their small restaurant booked 1 week in advance because space is limited. Inflatable games not secure, my child managed to fall from two heights due to the games not being closed everywhere! Too dangerous ! The staff was non-existent! I don't find it worthy of a capfun. I will not recommend this sorry campsite. Well located campsite. Service: 1

This is officially the best campsite I've been to. Management and reception team at the top and attentive to our comments. The mobile homes are clean and spacious. Sanitary and laundry always nickel. The swimming pool and slides at the campsite are awesome. The technical team is very reactive when it comes to the problem that we can find in our mobile homes. The entertainment is top notch for adults as well as for children and teenagers. We never get bored. Frankly when I read the comments of some, I wonder if we spent our stays in the same campsite. Anyway, to finish, great campsite that I can only recommend.

We stayed there for 1 week at the end of August 2023 with the family. 2 adults 2 children On arrival, a pleasant surprise, the welcoming reception told us that we had been upgraded to 6 people instead of 4 people. Alright. But after experience, several things did not suit us: the person at the bar (blonde woman) very unfriendly and unsmiling with adults and children, too bad when we are on holiday rather happy. morning pastries to be ordered the day before are limited to croissants and bread our mobile home at the bottom of the very noisy coast (a little on top of each other). The cars take their momentum to climb this same hill. The vehicles also drive way too fast (more the responsibility of the campers than of the campsite itself). The timetables allow cars to enter the campsite until midnight!! Much too late. the groslejac bridge was closed for works. Of course we were notified once the reservation was made. Boring since it adds considerably to the road time to go to Sarlat in particular. We would have known before we would not have booked. the swimming pools are very pleasant and great for children with the slides. Vague Océane sells the ecology aspect on the heating of swimming pools, but it might also be necessary to do what is necessary so that liters of water per minute do not escape at the level of the fittings of the slides. Despite all these points, which can easily be improved, the stay was pleasant and Les Granges campsite is a well kept campsite where the children have a blast and that is the main thing!
