Lunch in style at this quay side cafe will not disappoint. Fish, samphire sweet potato mash was delicious as was the dessert. Staff were welcoming and efficient and made helpful recommendations from the menu and wine list.
A perfect viewpoint overlooking the water, the staff were very friendly and helpful.Main courses were good - nice steak and Seabass both very well cooked , kids meal was basic, the poisson frites was quite bland swordfish which went down well with one child, not the other.Dessert was a a very over gelatined pannacotta which was quite unpleasant, i mentioned it to the waitress yet we were still charged for it.
The waiter was so rude in here its almost funny. we were ignored for 15minutes when we got in so we took a seat, then when we gried to order we were asked "why were we sitting here?" we said because we wohld like a drink. we then receieved a lecture on how normally people would wait to be seated and he went on and on. me and my wife looked at ecah other waiting for jermely beadle to jump out it was so unbelievable. i had to stop him and told him he was being rude. Pparebtly if we moved one seat forward we would have been okay, however obviously impossible to serve us on the table we were on and he preferred to lecture us and point out that we were stupid.i took my picture from the cafe opposite which is much nicer!
Located near the terminus of the coche de Port Grimaud and millionaire yacht moorings the Cafe Telline is ideal to sit with a coffee or small libation and watch the world go by. Prices are average for the area and the menu looked good, the service was good too and all in all a great place to visit. Easily found at the edge of the market place before the bridge to he church tower.
