La Parrilla Mexican - Greenville

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere, food, and staff were all fantastic. One standout feature was the bilingual crew, which made it fun to mix Spanish and English in conversation with them.

I have been visiting this restaurant for years! It is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I would recommend it any day! The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is really nice with the background music playing.

My friend and I recently had lunch at this restaurant. The complimentary chips and salsa were very tasty, especially the salsa which had a nice little kick to it. I ordered the sopa de pollo and it was absolutely delicious! The addition of avocado to the soup gave it a refreshing flavor. I could have eaten an entire pot of it. The service was excellent, as we were promptly seated and our waitress checked on us frequently.

UPDATE from my last dining experience here five years ago. December 9, 2023 We went to La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant for lunch Sunday after our visit to Haywood Mall and The Hyatt. The restaurant had a nice crowd, but we didn 't have to wait to be seated. I dined at La Parrilla five years ago with my mother and a niece, during the week of the 4th of July. I don 't think it had been open very long at that time. The food was really good back then . As with a lot of places the food quality and taste changes as the years go by. I ordered the taco salad with shredded chicken, thinking and hoping the chicken would not be tough. The chicken was tough and it was not served in a taco bowl like I thought it would be. It was on the bland side, with some grilled onions, some taco seasoning, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream on top. My so called taco salad came out in a crunchy taco, instead of a taco bowl. I am by no means an expert on Mexican food, but I do know what tastes good, and this was not it. Service was ok, and the restaurant was decorated nicely for the holidays. I 'm not sure that I 'll try La Parrilla again, but it was good to spend time with my family.

We had a great time here celebrating Cinco de Mayo!!! Excellent service by Lally and her team! Super lively restaurant with lots and lots of customers. Delicious foods, nice touch on the free T-shirts too. Thank you so much!!! They have delicious frozen salted margaritas!!!!
