Coconuts - Gravois Mills

My son took me to Coconuts for lunch. We ordered a drink called Pain In The A which included rum runner pina colada with a rum floater on top. This frozen beverage absolutely quenched our thirst! We ordered the Beach Nachos which included corn tortilla chips, queso cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream with shredded chicken. They have ground beef as an option as well. There was a live DJ jamming out the tunes and a swimming pool party!

Okay what a super fun place to have stumbled upon while out on the lake! My sister was so happy to find this place while we were out on the boat and wanted to stop in. Upon entering it was pretty bumping, the music was going and it was already pretty crowded. It's definitely pricy but it's honestly a pretty cool experience for a drink or two! I personally didn't love how crowded it was and after about 45 minutes in the pool I was a little over it. People were really on top of you but they were at least nice. The drinks were amazing. The pina colada was one of the best I've ever had. Not too strong and not too sweet, honestly perfect and it's pre made in a slurpee machine so kudos to them! If you're looking for a quick drink while out exploring the lake then this spot is great to spend an hour or two but honestly no more than that.

Typical tourist trap...overpriced for the quality of food they serve. We had one order that was incorrect twice. They don't serve dinner entrees until 6 but closed at 7...waitress seemed annoyed when we asked about that. The food was decent but nothing special. Location is great, right on the water. Beautiful patio. Also they charge $2 for waters FYI

This place has such potential; beautiful property, amazing pools... however we're on vacation came on a slow/off day felt as if we were burdening the staff, they would rather sit on the bar on their phones than actually engage or have a a conversation with their customers. We ordered calamari it was overcooked and fishy way overpriced for the serving size we got. When we voiced our concerns the server said that he's never ordered it before so he doesn't know what it even looks like. It wasn't just us being treated like that, it was the whole place, I get it's an off day... but every customer matters. Also a heads up, they include 20% gratuity (or at least they did to us, a couple at the bar) to the check. Would give this a second chance just for the property alone but they definitely need to have some managerial or staffing changes.

My friends and I went here yesterday and our experience was fine overall. I guess. Our waitress was prompt and polite, but food was overpriced and honestly not that great. There was an ant in my friend 's drink, so I asked for another one for her, and they gave her the same drink without any alcohol in it, so I had to ask AGAIN for alcohol. As a former waitress myself, this was completely irresponsible and unprofessional of her. The pool bar played great music to shake your a to, but there were several middle aged people hogging the volleyball net acting like h high schoolers. The Caribbean chicken sandwich did not live up to the hype, and the calamari was disappointing in my friend 's words, literally chicken tenders, I 've never thought that about calamari in my life. Well said, Ellee. I would come back here simply to drink, but the food was not really worth it.
