Flatlanders Taco Company - Grapevine

We ordered a chicken taco, a steak taco, and the Gringo Especial. After about 20 minutes, our food finally arrived. My initial impression of the food was positive; it looked and smelled fresh. However, I can’t recommend the $4 queso (the Gringo Especial) because it was quite a small portion and tasted just average. The taco prices were very reasonable, under $4 each, and the flavors were delicious! They also have Taco Tuesdays, where you can get three tacos for $7. Like many places around the square, parking can vary depending on the time and day. I found the free parking lot in front of Oak Street Draft House to be the most convenient, and there are usually spots available. I also appreciated that you can take your tacos to go and enjoy them on the outdoor patio at Oak Street Draft House. This arrangement benefits both establishments since Oak Street doesn’t serve food and Flatlanders doesn’t serve alcohol. I plan to return to Flatlanders to try more flavors, and hopefully, the service will be a bit faster next time.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to their fresh and delicious food. I tried the chorizo and potato taco as well as a pork taco, and both were fantastic! The décor is also impressive; it's definitely worth visiting just to take in the ambiance. There are a few semi-private areas with tables, along with a cozy small patio. I particularly loved the window that overlooks the kitchen from one of the seating areas—it was so clean and equipped with a lot of interesting cooking tools! They also offer a BYOB option if you'd like to bring your own drinks.

This charming family-owned restaurant is a lovely spot to visit. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the food is delicious. They offer a variety of street tacos with unique twists, featuring ingredients like cactus and avocado, among others. It's also a great place for families, as it's very kid-friendly.

The best tacos in the DFW area! I've visited this place several times, and the food is outstanding while the service is exceptional. I won’t be going anywhere else for tacos!

Excellent food, incredibly friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere. It definitely feels like a place that belongs in Denton! Just a heads up, I highly recommend trying the Bacon Torta and the Churros!
