Edwards - Granville

I ate at this restaurant tonight and they only had five menus for the whole restaurant. This wasn 't horrible because there was only one other table there that had two people at it, but they had two of the menus and we were a party of 6. Our order was taken in a timely manner and we received our drinks on time. For only one other table being there before us, it took 45 minutes for our food to be served which was a big let down. When the food came out we noticed we were missing several items. The Cobb salad did not have any hard boiled eggs and it unfortunately was made with shredded iceberg lettuce. They did not bring out any ketchup for our burgers or fries and did not bring out any tartar sauce for our fish and chips. We requested refills since our drinks were empty and for the hard boiled eggs and condiments. The water was filled promptly and then we were informed there were not any hard boiled eggs. We then waited for our condiments. We were so hungry that we started to eat fries and fish without them. We requested them multiple times and the condiments were never delivered to us. When we had been waiting for 20 minutes for our condiments and went up to the kitchen to request it. Our condiments were sitting there ready to go out with the server standing right next to them. This perturbed us greatly. We finally had our condiments and finished our meal. While finishing our meal a family came in to eat and waited 5 minutes for someone to seat them. No one came so they went to the kitchen and yelled Hey does anybody work here! We heard them yell this several times from the dining room but no one ever responded to them and they left, which was very smart on their behalf! We then waited at our table for the bill but our waitress never showed up. We finally went to the kitchen to request the check and someone from the kitchen had to go get our server from out back. Instead of coming to our table she went to another table instead. When she walked past our table we requested the bill. We then waited longer and were finally fed up and went to get the bill and pay in the main market. I 'm assuming the chef or manager came up to us and told us to give her a break she was only 15, he then puffed up his chest and acted like he was going to fight my husband. We responded that we would like to speak with the manager but was told there was not one by some of the employees and was told by some employees that this man was the manager. I 'm not sure who was the manager but he screamed at us across the dining room that he was getting our bill. We waited five more minutes or more for him to bring out the bill. We eventually threw some money on the counter and left because they never brought the check. I feel sorry that this 15 year was thrown into a dining room with no guidance. She didn 't do a horrible job she just wasn 't given the tools to succeed. I would never go back to this restaurant due to the lack of management and the mediocre food. I would recommend anyone reading this review to do the same.

We had a great impromptu Valentines Day dinner! Food was good, our waitress was fantastic!

Delivery Specific ReviewThere aren't many places in Granville that deliver. Let alone with the range Edwards offers; seriously, check their site for what towns they'll go to. It's an immediate plus.The bulk of their menu is available for delivery as well. You aren't limited to pizza and wings. An especially nice selection to have during corona.Wait time has never hit an hour; even on busy nights. Food arrives pristinely packed. Polite and professional drivers.Delivery aside: The food itself has always been consistent, well priced and prepared speedily but not rushed. Currently the best pizza place in Granville (12/2020).

Edwards market is under new management now, and I haven't been there in a few weeks so it may be as good or it may be worse. I went when it was under the previous management and although pricey, the food was excellent. Great service, I love the waitress in the restaurant she is ideal. The dinner was that was served was delicious!
