Six.one.six - Grand Rapids

I have a corner suite in the new building on the Concierge level with a pair of massage packages that was absolutely exquisite! Each part of the stay was so great, I felt compelled to get a gift for the staff to show my appreciation. I understand that changes have been made and the prices/packages have changed since I stayed, but the ambience, the amenities (gotta love thedach tennis courts) all stay top notch I am happy to visit again soon!

My room was as expected, clean and comfortable. However, the purpose of this review is to shout out the absolutely amazing staff at the reception. My service at check-in was great, but Gil and Melissa went beyond me. I needed help at almost midnight with print documents and they did not hesitate to help me with my strange request. Was very appreciated!!! Thank you.

My friend and I were here to attend an event at Devos and it was nice to go there to come and not need to bring jackets or drive / park. The Lumber Baron Bar on the first floor is one of our GR favorites, although this was our first time in the hotel, we often come for the big drinks menu and atmosphere. The reception staff was friendly and friendly and checked immediately. We parked in the park structure, which turned out was free and that was a nice surprise. It was disappointing that our shower was not clean (there were some hair on the walls!? otherwise the room was good. The bed was very comfortable and we got the possibility for a room on a higher floor that had a partial view of the river. If we had stayed more than one night, no refrigerator would have been a bummer, but we were only there for the event and did not want to go after, so this time was not a big deal. I'd stay safe for comfort.

I give this a 5-star rating based on the customer service I received from Cameron. Cameron was a very helpful and friendly employee who helped me with the few problems I had during my stay. Yes the rooms were nice, very up-to-date, clean and accommodating, but that is what you would expect from a higher hotel. The nice staff was also very pleasant and welcoming, but Cameron went out his way to ensure that my disputes were resolved and treats them quickly and efficiently.
