I have tasted many amazing Chicken Sandwiches being from Chicago and this place can easily rank among the best in the Midwest. I love spicy food so I had to get the Hot Chicken Sandwich, which comes with fries. It was so tender and juicy and it was a big chunk of chicken. You can see it was freshly made/made to order. Also, I tried their chicken special of their leg and thigh with parmesan garlic sauce on the side for 5 dollars. It was good too. The sauce was excellent. The service here was amazing with the cashier and chef being patient and diligent with my questions and making my food. I will definitely come back here again whenever I'm in Grand Rapids. Definitely a must try when in town!
I?ll start with the positive? The fries that came with my sandwich were delicious! Also, if you are just looking for big portions, you will probably be happy here. Enormous amount of french fries and a very large piece of chicken on my sandwich. Unfortunately, the chicken and the entire sandwich had absolutely zero flavor. There?s no seasoning in the chicken, no seasoning in the very little bit of slaw that they put on my sandwich, and no seasoning in the bread. If the chicken is going to be completely flavorless, there has to be some seasoning added somewhere else. Also, the chicken was extremely dry. I really could not even finish the sandwich for lack of flavor and dryness. Also, Lady who took my order was nice.
Juju chicken is literally the best place I?ve ever gotten a sandwich in Grand Rapids. The classic chicken sandwich is so good like so good. But the mac and cheese, is literally the best Mac and cheese I?ve ever eaten in my entire life. If I had to pick one food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be juju chicken
A little pricey, but location location location. Come hungry, portions are very satisfying. Great chicken, the Nashville hot sandwich was very hot but had a great depth of flavor vs alot of places just dumping all the cayenne in. Parm garlic fries are top notch. One of my favorite spots when I visit GR.
I spent $16 on boneless wings and it was the worst. No fries just chicken. It's not wings and it was too thick, dry, and just too chewy. I will not ever eat or spend money with them again!
