Taco John's - Grand Forks

I just went through the drive-thru, and I've never experienced anything like this at a fast-food restaurant. When I requested refried beans instead of oles, the man taking orders was genuinely thrilled that I was the first customer all day to make that request. When I reached the window, he was incredibly friendly, and his customer service was outstanding. His bright and energetic attitude really made my day. I even tried to call and let the manager know what a great job he was doing, but the phone number listed online doesn't work. I really hope his manager sees this!

This restaurant offers a unique twist on Tex-Mex compared to Taco Bell, and the food is quite good. It appears to be well-managed. During my recent visit, I ordered from the drive-thru and realized they forgot to include a specialty taco. However, before I drove away, the employee at the window noticed and brought it to my attention. It's the small touches like that which make a difference. I’m giving it 4 stars because the prices are a bit on the high side, but Taco Tuesday offers a fantastic deal!

This place offers quality fast food at reasonable prices. The breakfast bowl is both delicious and huge—you definitely won’t leave hungry. The "Six Pack and a Pound" is another great deal, featuring six soft or crunchy tacos along with a pound of potato oles. You really can’t go wrong with that! Plus, Taco Tuesday makes an already fantastic deal even better.

I like taco John's way better than taco bell. It tastes better to me. Pretty quick service and food. I like the potatoes ole with cheese. They did make the apple grande smaller this year. Wish they had the old Sierra chicken back. But you know if they brought it back it wouldn't be the same-they would screw it up and be gross. Anyway I like eating there.
