Burke's Diner - Grand Falls

This restaurant is located in a secluded area, but it is a hidden gem when it comes to satisfying your cravings. The hand-cut fries are a must-try, even if you opt for a salad. They are incredibly addictive. Other popular dishes such as the turkey dinner, mashed potatoes, and gravy are reminiscent of homemade meals from the 1950s. The burgers are affordable and delicious. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with well-behaved children watching cartoons on a giant screen and enjoying their meals without hesitation.

We went for breakfast on a Sunday. One of us ordered the huge pancakes, while others tried variations of the traditional eggs breakfast with sides and home fries. Some opted for different versions of the western sandwich. The service was quick and friendly, but the kitchen was a bit slow. If you want your food faster, order the western sandwich! Despite that, all the dishes were well-prepared, hot, and delicious. If you prefer a cozier atmosphere, sit in the front part of the restaurant as the back area is spacious and better suited for larger groups.

I have never seen plates as large as the ones they serve here. Even though I weigh 250 pounds and can easily eat two Big Macs and two supersized fries, I still couldn't finish the hot hamburger plate they serve at this restaurant.

Went for lunch with the family. The service was very friendly and the service fast. Our food was hot and had lots of flavour. The amount of fries that comes with your meals is enormous!! Nobody was able to even come close to finishing them all. The portion sizes of their menu items are large and you certainly get your money's worth and more! Love the atmosphere here .. very laid back and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back again!
