Roadhouse Diner - Goulburn

Very friendly staff. Meal offered were inexpensive & very good. This roadhouse is also licenced. We were staying at the Carapark & walked here for dinner that night which was only around 5-7mins away

This is a great place to stop and grab something to eat before you continue your journey. Prices are as expected . I enjoyed what I got.

This place is not conveniently placed and does not compete well with the modern roadhouses that are beside the motorway. I made this detour based on the review of this place. In my opinion it is not worth the drive out of your way if you are on a long trip on the motorway. The management has changed hands, and whilst they were very friendly and helpful, the food, the location and the internal environment, is not any better than you would get at good road houses, and in some aspects, is disappointingly worse than good roadhouses. I couldnt get the meal I wanted because they didnt have the specific meat as advertised on the menu. So average overall.

We were travelling the Hume and around Goulburn we decided we wanted some lunch and needed petrol so took the detour even though we hadn't had any good experiences in Goulburn in the past. My husband had eaten at the Roadhouse Diner before and said the food was good so decided we would eat there rather than drive around looking for something. Ok, so it's nothing flash but who cares if the food is good, and it was very good. My husband had the crumbed cutlets with mushroom gravy and some chips and I had the fish cakes, chips & salad. The crumbed cutlets were large, and there was 3 of them. Could have been a little more gravy. My 2 fish cakes were very tasty. The chips were also very good. And all very reasonably priced. I will (and have already) recommended this place to people.

Probably the best place for AM and PM people in Goulburn, spacious and a lot of options for breakfast lunch and dinner. Fully licensed
