My wife and I had a late lunch there today. The young female server had an attitude from the start of our first request. We have eaten at restaurants all over the world and encountered our share of disrespectful and rude employees. Today was no different and we ignored it. The food was delicious and well prepared. The Margaritas were some of the best. By the end of meal we always order some extra salsa to take with us. This is where the server got the best of us. She didn 't hide her frustration with our requests and it was obvious. We waited 10 minutes for her to return with the check. We went to the register and asked for our check and the extra take out. She pointed to the bag and walked away. I told her we were waiting at the table. You have to come here to pay and pick up food she said. I explained that it would be considerate to the customer to let them know. She laughed and walked away. The other young girl at the register said the bill was $60 so added 10% tip for terrible service. I ask the girl where the extra food was and she pointed to counter behind her. Can I have it please and it was like asking her to strain herself. As we walked away I mentioned that a bit more effort to please the customer she could 've made 20% of that $60. Server to me the customer I don 't give a .... about your $60 and your stupid tip. I will certainly not recommend Agave Jalisco and will advise everyone we know in Goliad TX to never ever dine there.

Customer service needs improvement. Front staff were rude and acted as if they were bothered. The food was tasteless, hardly any sauce on enchiladas. Will not eat there again.

Food was ok but the service was terrible, granted it was a Friday night but waitstaff didn’t seem to know what tables to serve. They had a large group that seemed to prevent them from serving others. Tortilla holder was dirty, very sad to have what could have been a great evening a disappointment.

But the service was horrible. Called in a lunch order and pickup was supposed to be in 10 minutes. Arrived and waited another 30 minutes at the counter. I dont think they even started the order before I arrived. Others were waiting for their pickup orders and I was tempted to cancel mine and go elsewhere.

I wish I would have paid heed to the bad reviews here. I wish I would have paid attention to the bad vibes I got over the dirty and unkempt bathroom. Don’t eat here. Run to somewhere else. The food is horrible. Even the chips were bad. The window we sat by was filthy. I was wondering about the kitchen with the dirty window and not mentioning the bathroom. To top it off, service was almost non-existant. Like I said, run away from this place. I wish I would have stayed home and ate a sandwhich.
