Huddle House - Goldsboro

It is no longer the Huddle House but it's called Country Kitchen. The food was ok and the service was ok

The service was slow, the girl that won’t even our server did a good job. The only lace was dirty and nasty.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. Straight off the bat, the only table available was dirty. We sat down and waited, finally our waitress came and asked if we wanted something to drink and we asked for water and coffee. She never gave us a menu. It was several minutes later when she finally came back. My husband asked for the table to be cleaned. She responded oh I'm going to get that but you want me to get your order in first, then she asked oh you want me to get that now? Meaning clean the table? We said yes. She walked away presumably to get menus and a dishcloth to wipe the table. We left. This place is nasty already, and there was no apology nor urgency to clean. We would never eat food from this place. Disgusting!! Oh I didn't even mention the hair on the table. The owners of this business should know how it's being run. It's a nasty place!!

The food that we got was great!The service was not so much.I ordered a breakfast sandwich that came with hash browns, but they were out.The server offered french fries instead and I accepted.When we got the order, there were no fries. I asked the server and she told me I didn't order fries. I honestly would have been fine if she didn't have an attitude and would have apologized

The Huddle House used to be a decent greasy spoon. Today we stopped by and it's changed hands and is now called the Country Kitchen and it is terrible. The food was horrible, uneatable. The coffee was watered down, the orange juice was watered down. The pancakes and sausage and eggs were terrible. My husband couldn't eat his omelet.. they never brought his toast. The place was busy busy busy but the food was horrific
