Bhatbaan, IORA - Golāghāt

I really hope that the poorly prepared pork dish I received at this lovely resort was just a fluke. The pork was tough and tasted old. It was disappointing to receive such a subpar meal, especially on a Tuesday night, which makes me think it was probably leftover from the weekend.

This restaurant is for ones who love assamese food (and I can say there ain't many who will not fall in love with assamese food). It simple, tasteful and filling. The ambience is pleasing and the management of the restaurant ensures they do their best to make you happy with their food and service

While visiting Kaziranga, we friends had stayed at Iora, which was a wonderful experience.One afternoon we decided to taste Assamese Cuisine at Bhatbaan restaurant at Iora. And what an amazing experience it was.We all tasted traditional Assamese food and really enjoyed it. It was all very healthy and light on the stomach too!Restaurant is well managed and presentation of food as well as service is good. Staff are courteous and good.Would highly recommend this place to all visiting Kaziranga, whether guests at Iora or others.....

The food quality & taste could well surpass any hatted/ Michelin star restaurant and I can say that with responsibility. I could travel to Kaziranga just for Bhatbaan food. The ingredients are so damn fresh & it's hard to believe how Assamese cuisine, which is protein dominated, have such great options for veggies

It is hard to describe a restaurant this good, one just has to experience it. The food is as authentic as it gets, yet there is enough variety for everyone. The ingredients are simple and healthy, and still most of the dishes taste and look exotic. Everything is delicious, and the price is unbelievably reasonable. The service and the setting are also great, especially if are there on a rainy day.
