Gary Lee's Market - Brunswick

This review is primarily on the brisket sandwich, which was fresh and tender. Also had a side of Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The Mac and cheese wasn't too bad. It lacked flavor but was loaded with cheese. Adding the brisket to it took both foods to another level. .....hint....hint. The coleslaw was sweet but the texture wasn't to my personal liking+ though I did eat half.

Do not miss this spot for lunch. The large number of public service vehicles at lunch tells you this is the place to be. Melt-in-your-mouth brisket, sausage links, mac and cheese, potato salad. A happy find.

I have known that family for 50 some years. The best meat in town. I can keep on.

I got the coleslaw today and it was the best I w had anywhere. Fresh, crunchy, a little sweet pickle it was perfection! Also the ribs were phenomenal this afternoon. Definitely going back.

We visited from Chattanooga, the smoked food was awesome, only reason not all 5 stars. BBQ sauce WAY too sweet and no option of a hot sauce of any kind... Great meats but bring your own sauce unless you want to have a glucose overload shock to your system. The crew totally great...next time I will bring my own sauce
