Magnolia 525 Tavern - Gloucester

Slow service and the place was dead.Grumpy waitress.Crappy food.High prices.What’s to like? Not much.

Good food. 525 should have kitchen hours on the website. Kitchen closes at 9pm.

First time here, not overly impressed. eggplant was both chewy with an overpowering flavor of the frying pan. sauce was watery but had great flavor. place was hopping, short staffed though. our waitress was awesome even though she was stressed out. almost double the price of Causeway I expected double the quality as well

I might just be a simple man with a simple family. But my family and I think this place is a destination restaurant. We've had fish chips all over including New York City, Epcot, and Boston. But this unassuming restaurant astounded us with their fish and chips. Our server tells us that they get their fish fresh every morning, so that might have something to do with it. We will be coming back here for sure.

It was my first time here. I'm a musician and came to hear a friend's jazz trio and was very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the Magnolia 525 Tavern was.
