Gen Korean Bbq House - Glendale

I had the best Korean BBQ experience in Los Angeles! Korean BBQ is always my top choice when I visit LA, and there are so many options to choose from that it can be overwhelming. This place stands out for its cleanliness, fantastic atmosphere, and amazing staff. The experience was excellent overall, and our server, EJ, was wonderful. I can't wait to return next time I'm in town!

I BBQ'd short ribs and brisket, dipped them in the provided sauces, and enjoyed them with steamed rice. It was absolutely delicious!

Once we finally got seated, we had a wide range of delicious options to choose from and were pleased with everything we tried, except for the Sirloin Steak. I’d recommend being cautious with this dish due to the thickness of the cut. My personal favorite was the spicy pork bullhead. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It was quite busy, so there wasn’t much conversation exchanged, but this was easily overshadowed by the great food. One note: while most Korean BBQ restaurants have smoke hoods to reduce smoke in the dining area, this one did not, so be prepared to leave smelling like BBQ if the servers aren’t promptly changing the grill. Overall, I'd say it was a very enjoyable experience, and at $27.99, you definitely won’t leave hungry!

This was my first time going to a Korean BBQ, and this place was recommended to me by a friend. Very good food! The servers were all very polite, overall great experience. The place is very clean, and the servers keep checking in on you to swap your grill should it get too dirty. I'd definitely recommend this place as a first KBBQ for those who haven't been to one!
