I gave the burger a 9 out of 10, while the rest of my family rated the chicken parmigiana a 10/10. The portions were large, with one person needing a doggy bag and another sharing their meal with my daughter. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Although the drinks were slightly more expensive than at other pubs in town, I was happy to pay extra for the quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a great dining experience.

My family and I went to the Tavern-General Store for lunch on Tuesday and it was a fantastic discovery. The place is quirky and clean, and all ten of us, including family members, enjoyed delicious food and received great service. We also found some lovely items at the General Store during our annual sibling catch-up. The owner, who has only been in charge for a few months, has done an amazing job and has even more plans in the works. If you're in Albany or Torbay, this restaurant is a must-visit for a meal, coffee, or to browse the unique items in the General Store. Thank you for making our family gathering even more special.

This restaurant is a welcoming spot to enjoy live music while indulging in a delicious meal. It offers a great atmosphere and excellent service, although it is not overly fancy. It is definitely worth the short drive from Denmark town for a enjoyable Sunday afternoon outing.

Not your average fuel stop. The burgers here are better than anything you can find in ALBANY. The steak burgers are my favourite. My son wanted a bacon and egg burger this morning and at a normal servo that’s all you would get just bacon and eggs. Have a look at this! Extremely fresh, very generous and so tasty! So glad to live near here but if I didn’t I would make the trip just for a burger.

We enjoyed a meal here on a Saturday night. Lovely people, home cooked food and a pleasant environment. A choice of draft beers was appreciated, too! Certainly worth visiting if you are in the area. Don't leave it too late, as they only open when they have customers which should be more often, given the value!
