I would not recommend this place. there are better tapas restaurants in glasgow. eating was badly presented and rather tasteless. disappoint.
Great tapas. I loved it, and I'm sure I'm going back. we tried many dishes, fish, garnel, they cost about £4-5 per dish, what I think is a good value. paella was £9.95, but many of them and defining a highlight and not at all expensive. they can sit on the balcony, but we sat inside, as the facility is large, quite intimate and fab image of a bull on the wall (choice one for my house! . try it, a lot of choice and very tasty dishes.
Embarrassing. I visited barca with my family fpr a birthday party. the meal was terrible. the tortilla was nothing like the tortilla I had in other tapas bars in Spain and Britain. Barcas version was more like a simple omelete. I chose the one-pot I expected he was slowly boiled melt in the mouthpieces of bark. Unfortunately, what I received was a little gristle. I complained, got a replacement I had rejected. then they took 5 pounds. I was embarrassed for the waiter who was excited to tell me. I'm not back.
Very bland. Thought was overpriced for tapas, dont mind paying £10-£20 per head for lunch if its good, fresh, not frozen or cooked with imagination. Too formulaic for me. Food not up to scratch for the price. Maybe if they moved to Merchant City and had less rent to pay would be more of a success.
