Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful and fresh display case. The modern and spacious interior, with ample lighting and a peaceful atmosphere, set the tone for a lovely dining experience. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to our table. A highchair was provided for our baby, along with crayons and a coloring book to keep him entertained. Our drink orders were quickly taken, and we were treated to a complimentary appetizer from the house. We also requested a special cocktail that was not on the menu, which was happily made for us. Before our main course, we enjoyed the delicious mini croques served with a unique sauce. The entrees were equally as satisfying, with the fresh steak tartare and flavorful Caesar salad hitting the mark. Even our little one enjoyed a tasty chicken filet. The hostess checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. The bill was presented in a nice box with some sweets, and the service was efficient. The restroom visit was also a pleasant surprise, with clean facilities and a lovely scent diffuser. This restaurant exudes sophistication, evident in both the food and service provided. It is clear that the staff here know what they are doing.
I made a reservation last week to dine at Chef Laurent's on Mother's Day. I knew it would be a busy day, but surprisingly, the wait was not too long. The food was delicious, especially the baked geese with risotto. The dish melted in my mouth and the fresh asparagus complemented it perfectly. The Irish steak was cooked perfectly, although I would have preferred it a bit more rare. The mushroom sauce was divine. The dessert, the "Colonel," was a refreshing ending to the meal. I highly recommend dining at Chef Laurent's and look forward to returning. Hats off to Chef Laurent and his team for a fantastic meal! - Sigurd. For those who are unsure, I say go for it!
The food was amazing and the service was welcoming. The house smoked salmon was incredibly delicious! Another visit on March 25th, 2017, was just as delightful. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was perfect. The alcohol-free aperitif was refreshing and delicious. Our visit on May 9, 2017, was also excellent!
