Canteena - Gisborne

We both enjoyed the suppe of the day and a delicious fish from the special board with fresh ananas and papaya salsa. the food was great and the portion size was very generous.

Delicious food and wonderful service, recommend canteena. beautiful atmosphere and easy parking. the coffee is excellent as the dirty chai.

Had a really lovely dinner with my parents. Good sized meals and an absolutely gorgeous atmosphere with lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend trying the vegetable biryani, lamb biryani or stuffed chicken breast!!

Great restaurant, fantastic food, very well presented and amazing variety of tastes on the one plate. The service was perfect, we were greeted in an extremely professional but friendly manner, iced water sitting on our table was a wonderful touch. Quiet restaurant, pleasant surroundings,. We will certainly return to Canteena.

Everything about Canteena for us was perfect. The food was so good, so fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was second to none, being served by the owners and having a chat with them was so relaxed. What a great night Thankyou. 5 star ????????????????????
