Slowest place on earth, walked in a placed a to go order and it took forty plus minutes to receive 3 sandwiches and two sides.

What an incredibly rapid decline. They reopened after a remodel and the food has never been the same. I got the sample plate today. Bland, tasteless, and the tots are even undercooked. I’m including a picture of the “serving” of Cole slaw that was provided. It’s in the same measly container as the bottled sauce. The place itself is tiny. There is now a creating station blocking a walkway. When you tell them you have a take out order, they send you to the counter behind them, so it gets even tighter. It’s a shame that this is o close to me and that this is my last visit.

Orderd the family size of pork which comes with 3 sides and a gallon of tea. I should've gotten enough to feed 4 people for $53. Instead all the quantities were small and tasted very cheaply made. Very disappointed. Will not go back .

We have been eating at Thatchers Ringgold for the past 6 years that we have lived here. It never fails on taste and quality! It’s the very best bbq I’ve ever tasted out of any other bbq place in the area hands down. Before living in Ringgold, me and my wife ate at the Trenton, GA location, where me and my wife are both from, which is home to the very first location and where it all started. As a teenager, I watched Thatchers grow from a small hut where you walked up to the window and ordered and took it home or ate at a picnic table under the shade trees to a sit down restaurant with waitresses with multiple locations that continues growing and food that everybody absolutely loves. I personally know the owners from growing up in Trenton, GA and they are wonderful people! I never would have expected that little hut in Trenton to grow into what it has become today and continuing to become but when you taste the food for the first time and see how generous they are with the food on the plate you will understand why everybody loves Thatchers bbq. We love the Porky Bucket, which is enough food for me and my wife to share and get full on by itself! They are the best in the business!! Hope they continue expanding the business because everybody deserves the chance to taste that delicious bbq. Parking: No marked parking spaces but there is usually plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids are highly welcome there, there is no bar or alcohol served inside and they have a good kids menu with pictures for kids to color while waiting for the food.

The brisket is beyond amazing! I’m talking mouth watering trip to flavor town! My wife got something called a chicky doo bucket and ? I’m telling you , it’s the bees knees, had I not gotten super full from my brisket , I would have demolished her plate as well!!! 10 out of 10 some of the best food around !!! We will definitely become regulars here!
