Zur alten Bruderschaft - Gevelsberg

We were invited to this place for a birthday. It is located on a reservoir, directly on the river Wupper and many walks. Parking directly outside the door. In addition to the shooting club there is a very cozy restaurant. It was booked to the last place. We realized that many regulars went in and out here. Very good food, great portions, nice service. We're coming back!

You can park in front of the restaurant and start one of the many hikes around Beyenburg from there. The restaurant offers To the old brotherhood both inside and outside enough space to strengthen. The service was very friendly. The menu is very common with meat dishes. But also many salads and three fish dishes are available. The Wupperspieße and the Schnitzler Holsteiner species were tasteful and very good. We also ordered baked sheep cheese, which was well decorated and nicely dressed. All in all a solid place.

With our hiking group we returned here happily but exhausted after an extensive hike through the secondary valleys of the Wupper. Our table was already covered and we were kindly received. The drinks were served flott and then our food requests were received. At 16 people we had to buy a preparation time, but then our dishes were served à la carte-related. The portions were optically very well dressed and correspondingly large portioned to the hunger of the hikers. No one's got up from the table. The service was friendly, nice and competent.
