Cottage Cravings Cafe & Gift Shop

Great little spot with great service and great food. They make several dishes that you can buy frozen and they have about 30 different types of excellent hot chocolate. Lovely little boutique attached to the cafe with great products. Highly recommended.

Supberb sandwiches, try the roast beef on kaiser and the sweet potato soup with bacon, maple syrup & home made croutons. The best soup in Muskoka. Henney knows her way around flavor. Too bad the resorts can't measure up. Thanks for a great lunch and take home dinner.

First time was a lunch stop. The parking lot was busy, so this was a good sign. Not a lot open in the area off season - but they were! so glad! Sandwiches - paninis and soup and delicious butter tarts or sweets as well. Famous hot chocolate bar didn't disappoint either. We had to return the next day to get another tart & hot drink. The gift shop was loaded with Muskoka goodies if you are in the market & the washrooms were clean. Lots of locals stopping in and we can see why!

It is always busy here and you can call and order pastries. The boutique is nice and offers a lot of different gift items and cottage decor. The issue is... it smells terrible. I wish I knew what the smell was. We have stopped by twice but had to leave because of the smell. I feel bad writing this but someone has to say something. We go elsewhere when we drive by because of this ... sorry. But the whole going nose blind must be true for the staff.
