Trattoria Pizzeria - Am Viadukt

My wife and I traveled from the USA for a three-week holiday in Germany and France and our last dinner was in this wonderful restaurant. We enjoy Italian food and have eaten in quality Trattoria and Pizzeria in many countries around the world.... This restaurant offered one of the best culinary experiences we had enjoyed in the last three weeks. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner who spoke German, Italian and English. We explored the restaurant and vine covered beer garden, but due to the cool weather we chose to dine inside. The restaurant has many seats and is beautifully decorated. There are many parking lots on a lot. Three of our group had wonderful thin crust pizzas. My wife had the Margherita pizza, which was prepared with high quality fresh ingredients and cooked for perfection. I started with a bowl of minenstrone soup that was very fresh and pleasant. My main course was a wonderful lasagna Bolognese. It was freshly baked for perfection and the portion size was almost too big after the bowl Minenstrone. We enjoyed a variety of wines and beer from their wine list. This restaurant has now become one of our favorites and we will definitely return. We only wish that we have lived closer to enjoy the food and the atmosphere more often!

I was told that the food was good here, it was much better than it was excellent. This place is good to find excellent food, good wine and very friendly service. Very recommended.

I was told the food here was good, it was far better than that it was excellent. This place is well worth finding, excellent food, good wine and very friendly service. Highly recommended.
