Not much Atmosphere inside as it's cold and dull but you can sit outside and look at the rolling green hills. Food is ok, fair amount of choice.

Saturday night in Winter... a warm and cosy lounge with the open fire going and an outside fire blazing in the beer garden. We had several families there are enjoyed a delicious meal. Live music was playing in the form of an excellent local band, The Refuge. It was a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Two of the families (including my own) stayed in the hotel rooms. They were basic but clean and comfortable.

Meals are fantastic, we ate on a Friday. Kate the Chef was more than happy to explain ingredients and cater to our needs but I dare say this wouldn't be possible in peak period. Delicious and very well priced. Terry the bar keep is a bit strange , but it made it entertaining

This is a lovely old place. We stopped here for lunch recently. The building are old and lovely. The menu wasn't extensive but the food was nice, we both had fish and chips, very large meals, but nicely cooked. The service was friendly and helpful as we enquires about places to visit.A lovely winters afternoon in the sun.
