Very decent restaurant at an airport hotel. Not expensive as I would imagine. Food was ok.
This restaurant should really be called The Cash Cow at the Airport . Given a fairly constant throughput of captive diners you 're unlikely to go anywhere else to eat if you 've decided to stay), the management obviously feels safe in jacking prices through the roof £4.50 for bread and butter, even if it 's chilli butter, is absurd; and £19.50 for a pretty indifferent bacon cheeseburger is off the charts) and not bothering to update the decor, which feels 70s but is probably mid-90s. The OpenTable booking did not actually make it through to the restaurant, but luckily they could accommodate us. Service was pleasant and helpful, to be fair, although only one individual appeared to be allowed to seat people and take payment, which meant long-ish waits to do troublesome things like pay.
Ridiculously overpriced and food was inedible! Very disappointing experience and would never return. Waste of money and for that price would have expected an awful lot more. Our party left very angry at having to pay so much for something many couldn't even eat!
We had a very relaxing dinner the night before our flight. Raqu, our Waiter, was thoughtful, attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, and we enjoyed the starter and mains. No room for dessert.
