My husband had the French onion soup and a veggie pizza, both of which were very good. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely come back again.
I really enjoyed my two visits to Banco. Granted, I had the same gluten-free and vegan pizza both times, but it was good, substantial...and gluten-free and vegan! I sat at the bar, so there was no wait time, as this place can get busy. Capacity limits increased on our visit, so that should help regarding wait times. Drinks were delicious and strong, and food was in front of me ridiculously quick. Other people in our group raved about their choices, too. Prices are fair, considering the location and portion size. If you don't want to stray too far from the casino action, this is your place. Even if you don't gamble, this would be a good spot to go on a date or just have a nice dinner.
Great place. Located in the casino so it’s convenient. Very good prices including drinks from the full bar. We loved our meal. Professional service. What more could you ask?
We have been to Banco a few times in the past and it was always good, but something has changed! We usually sit at the bar because it is fast, tasty, and reasonably priced. While it may not be high-end dining, it has been enjoyable in the past. However, on our most recent visit, the service was incredibly slow. The servers were too busy chatting with their boss and each other to pay attention to us until we had to ask for their attention. We ordered drinks and then waited. After taking our order (without onions), we continued to wait. After 25 minutes, we asked if there was a problem in the kitchen. We were informed that it would be another 15 minutes or so. The food finally arrived, but it was a disappointment (and with onions). The smoked salmon plate was nowhere near the quality and presentation we had experienced before. The calamari plate was overcooked and dried out, possibly from sitting in the fryer too long. The fries were the only redeeming dish. To their credit, the restaurant comped our drinks, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a sloppy experience with mediocre food.
Arrived to 45 minute wait time for a party of 6 with no dinner reservations on a Sunday which was our bad and not the fault of the restaurant. It was pretty busy for a Sunday night. There were many parties going on. After looking at the menu we decided to view the buffet. It was very dirty looking, food wasn't being replenished and no staff looking after the buffet. We decided to order from menu. Onion soup, wings, burgers, fish and chips, club sandwich and rotisserie chicken were ordered. The waiter was pleasant serving us in both English and French. The food arrived and it was OK nothing to write home about. The fish and chips were heavily battered and the rotisserie chicken looked undercooked. Within an hour we had eaten and paid our bill. It was convenient because we were at the casino but I would not choose to go there for dinner.
