L'Ardoise - Gatineau

This restaurant in the Four Points Sheraton has solid food and friendly service. Their two types of burgers are both tasty.

We stayed for a three day weekend at the Sheraton. Unfortunately, food options are sparse in the neighborhood. Dinner at this restaurant was really really bad. First was lukewarm greasy soup. Then undercooked flatbread, and a couscous meal that might hzve been ok except for the spaghetti sauce dumped on it. Salad as wilted and brown. The server knew it was all mediocre and gave us free desserts but that did not make up for a truly poor meal. We complained to the hotel staff but they just nodded. We did gamble (because it was cold and there were no close open options) and had a breakfast off the menu. That was actually good. Our guess is that the dinner meals are just microwaved frozen items, whereas they actually have to cook eggs. Service both times was excellent and we were careful to tip well.

This smallish restaurant is located off the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel. It is not a fancy restaurant but comfortable with friendly staff, reasonable prices and tasty food. If you don’t have housekeeping in your room for environmental reasons you are given a $5 coupon each day which can be used in the restaurant. This effectively paid for my meal

A decent place to eat if you’re kinda tired and don’t want to venture from the hotel. Nice service, attentive without hovering. Steal and fries was good. Chicken pasta had corn in it, I just find that unappealing. Pesto was a bit bland. Choices were somewhat limited.

Stayed at the Double Tree and enjoyed a nice atmosphere for drinks and dinner after a round of golf. Would recommend.
