Chocolats Favoris - Gatineau

Extremely dissatisfied in the workers there. I came in extremely excited to try there ice cream. I work at another chocolat favoris and i was excepting the same kind of customer service but no. The cashier was extremely nice (high five to her! but after we bought the ice cream, the person making the ice cream was extremely rude and dismissive. I was really taken a back because why are you so rude? If you didn’t want to work, why couldn’t you stay home? There was no need to be rude and disrespectful. Please keep your personal problems away from work. I won’t be going there again. You do not deserve my respect and my money if you’re going to be rude.

Too heavy, too sweet, too much. Felt sick from too much sugar after. First time, not for me. Would have loved it as a kid though ?

Horrible experience for a product that's not better than any other place.First, the inside of the store is crammed with products and a you are forced through a path that forces you around all the extra stuff they want to sell there. The ordering process is confusing, everything is overpriced, and that's just getting you ready for the absolute worse part of the experience.Once you are done ordering, you have to go to a corner of the store where everyone else is, it's packed, orders come out all disjointed (one cone for one order, another cone but this is for a different order, then someone who ordered way after you gets their order as you are still waiting with one of the four cones you ordered. While you wait, everything is melting all over your hands, people don't seem to know what to make and who ordered it. While waiting about 15 minutes for our 4 items (3 of those were baby sized soft serve), I saw at LEAST 10 cones thrown right in the garbage because either they had been made wrong, or no one knew who they were for. Then, when you finally have everything and need to go wash your hands, you are welcome by a bathroom that's about as clean as a gas station bathroom, has no paper, and there is only one bathroom so I hope you like to wait.Overall, it was highly stressful, frustrating to try to get everything we ordered before the first order had melted, bathrooms were horrible, we went to sit outside but tables and chairs were filthy with ice cream. We should have just gone somewhere else and I know I'm not going there again. Not worth so much money and so much anxiety for a product that's average at best.Quick edit : I forgot to mention that the employees there don't seem to care, at all, about the horrible service they provide. It looks like they have 6-7 people working there and only 2 actually working while they would need at least 4 more to help prepare orders, restock the bathroom, and perhaps also clean the tables. This place feels like it's understaffed and none of the employees want to work there.
