Food good portions good price reasonable ppl nice... Inside the restaurant one of the nicest I've seen clean and neat.....I also get my meal prep here this is just half of what I get in one week I pick up my second part in the middle of the week....Very reasonable price also and good sized portions as well...

I ordered a jerk salmon Johnny Cake sandwich, a macaroni, greens and fried catfish Soul Bowl, and two Holiday rolls. One roll was vegan, which contained mac and cheese, cabbage and cajun corn. The other roll was a holiday roll which had chicken, dressing, and mixed greens with turkey. The Johnny cake and salmon sandwich was pretty decent with the jerk ranch sauce. The catfish fillet was delicious as well. Unfortunately, the holiday rolls were cold on the inside and full of grease. The greens would have been better but they have way too much salt in them. Hopefully I will be able to go back and have a better experience. The jerk ranch dressing was amazing!!

I went here for the first time hoping to find a place in Gary with some healthy options which they did have but the portions were very skimpy and not like on the menu the egg rolls were Extremely GREASY to the point the paper bag was soaked and it even soaked the other paper bags it was so greasy that after eating one I got a major headache would not recommend. Non the less the egg rolls were large. The rice was very bland no seasoning no flavor at all, the macaroni was nice not a strong flavor but it was nice wasn't watery and was pretty good. The jerk chicken was ok it didn't taste much like jerk chicken and the portion was very small I have about 6 little pieces sprinkled around the bowl so that was very disappointing especially for almost 12$ but I do try and support our black owned business, last the peach cobbler was very good and it was the only thing I can say I had no problem with , it definitely tasted home made. I would recommend larger portions and also not so greasy food, and maybe a little seasoning unless none requested otherwise. With this being my first time and not having the best experience would I go back yes but it will be a while for sure. Also this is my 3rd time actually try to try there food and patronize there business on the days they claim to be open and was in fact closed . I would still try it out but maybe get something other then what I ordered.

Loved this place. Small, intimate setting, about 5 tables for two to dine in. So take out is preferable. We tried the Berry chicken salad and it was awesome!!!! loaded with good stuff

Great food but service is going down. You never know if they're open. They don't answer the phone and you can't order online. They're making it tough to support.
