Access To West Beach Indiana Dunes National Park

Great beach and very picturesque hiking trails. Here a famous biologist has developed the theory of plant succession. See how beautiful the dunes are and enjoy the view of the Chicago skyline. Just minutes from the centre of Miller Beach, where there are sweet restaurants and some beautiful boutiques.

We loved this beach! Very nice at sunset. It is cheap entertainment for children of all ages. Only down is the walk from the parking lot to the beach, but nothing wrong with some exercise.

I and my families favorite place to go not too far from home. So many memories made. I and my husband have been leaving since 2010 when we started dating. Now we take our 6 children and they love it the same way. Very recommended for family excursions!

Nice national park. We took the dune trail to get to the beach that was a treat. I'm getting used to dunes at the jersey, who only have grasses. Very cool to see a forest on the dunes. The water was warm and the waves impressive for a lake! Also very cool to see Chicago in the distance. Very recommended.

The access was better in the evening. We only encountered 1 jerk but it was a group of younger adults. They were trying to not allow us parking. It was odd as everyone else around was very nice. The beach was rather clean and the water of course is very cold. I was able to get nice pictures. You are able to see the skyline of Chicago if you go towards the evening.
