This location like others has a wide selection of bakery items and a sit down area. Right on the main street if a hunch of other places so perfect location to drop in or grab a coffee. Their cakes are the best. Many employees always working so you can just ask them to help!
Local French bakeries with the best macarons and croissants I've had in NY. I first found French Workshop in Bayside, Queens, and absolutely love this location in Garden City, too. All of their locations feel just like an upscale Parisian bakery, with bright lights, marble counters, and a long line of display counters. The line can get long and it can take a bit of time to work your way up to the counter, but the wait is worth it. I'm a big plain croissant and macaron guy, and these are some of my absolute favorites. Everything is always fresh, with incredibly flakey and soft croissants. There's a wide variety of macaron flavors, and you absolutely can't go wrong with any of them. My favorites are the Salted Caramel, Lavender, Rose, Lemon, and Raspberry. They're just like the ones I've had in Paris, and are absolutely a fairly priced for the quality. They have a ton of other great offerings, too many to list here. Their crème brûlée was surprisingly amazing for sitting in a display case. Their olive baguette was wonderfully oily and the right balance of chewy and crusty. They make great little croissant sandwiches too if you want something more filling and savory. There's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and if you're staying, they'll put your food on a literal silver platter which is a nice plus. Either way, enjoy these delicious treats and thank me later.
Another charming French style bistro serving brunch type fare. Many tempting bakery items freshly made. Seating in and outdoors. Ample parking. Immaculate. Friendly staff. Great coffee menu. Highly recommend!
My cousin woke me up at the crack of dawn to get ready and go to french workshop. This place never fails me with their food, or latte! always so flavorful. However, their latte didn't do the trick to wake me up because i was yawning every 5 min even after!! The chicken avocado sandwhich was good, but the sandwich i got last time which was the vegetarian mushroom one was even better. Even if you eat meat, try that sandwhich out because the flavors are wonderful!! The mixed fruit tarts was good, not too sweet at all. Love the decor inside as their sofas are so comfortable to sit on!
