Coffee from a local Hornsby roaster was good as well. They open for bfast and lunch and may soon do evening meal in the warmer months. All staff very friendly and outside heaters with wind protection from covers. All in all a great place. By the way it says It's in Dural for me it's in Galston on the roundabout next to Galston village shopping centre.
The menu restricted to more upmarket and expensive dishes but the experience could be more uplifting if the menu offered lighter meals like brushetta, foccacia and omelettes. The cafe society in Galston is fierce so there needs to be imaginative menus that appeal to all tastes and budgets. The service was friendly and efficient and off road parking is a doon. Needs to be a bit more atmospheric to appeal.
Four of us went to Rosie's for lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised. Why didn't anyone tell me about this gem before? The service was efficient and engaging. The restaurant has a modern and clean atmosphere, with nice restrooms and an interesting collection of model cars.
I stopped off at this restaurant on a whim on a cool rainy day for lunch. I was the only one there for a while until another pair arrived. The menu looked enticing and the interior had a pleasant atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating available. The restaurant has off-street parking, which is convenient since there is limited street parking in the area. I chose the chicken schnitzel burger with fries, and it was delicious, especially with the brioche bun. The fries were cooked perfectly. The service was attentive, likely because I was the only customer. They also serve good coffee, although I didn't try any myself. The average meal costs around $18-$22, excluding drinks. I would gladly return to this restaurant and recommend it to others who are in the area.
We went there for lunch on Sunday 21st August 2016, we had fish and chips and it was just beautiful, the coffee was excellent. We sat outside it was a bit cool and I did mention this to the owner and he said you should have told me, I would have put the heaters on for you, so my mistake, I will know next time. My husband had salt and pepper squid and our friends also had fish and chips. The salad with both of these meals was absolutely excellent, not just a bit of lettuce and tomato, we will go back and the coffee was hot.
