Route 66 Diner - Gallup

During our travels to California and back, we often struggle to find high-quality food in Gallup, but this place is a winner. We ordered a burger and a cheese enchilada plate. The enchiladas were on the smaller side, which was perfect for my appetite, but everything was delicious and made with very fresh ingredients. Our server was excellent and exceptionally friendly. The entire restaurant, including the restrooms, was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely return!

This restaurant was excellent, with very friendly staff. The food was delicious; I had a sopapilla breakfast that included eggs, hash browns, and sausage all served inside a large sopapilla. My husband ordered a Bacon Burger, which he enjoyed, although he mentioned that the French fries weren’t the best. He also noted that the men's restroom was not clean and needed some attention. Overall, it was an interesting surprise along Route 66.

I ordered a basic breakfast, and the Hash Brown was undercooked. However, everything else was prepared as requested. The establishment itself was quite clean, including the bathroom. The service was satisfactory.

Through all chains to stop here. I knew I was in the right place where we'd fill up all the locals. No problem, there was plenty of space on the counter. The menu was basically Burger and Mexican. I was with the Tamales. They were warm and delicious my dish was full of beans and rice. It's worth a stop. Oh, and they have breakfast and Burito go through.

Ate lunch here on 4/9/2022. Very good food and Superior service. Great place.
