Alberto's - Gallatin

Was so hopeful that this would be a fine dining experience but it wasn’t. Food was ok. Not great. Ambience was very grandmas house. Salad dressing served in to go containers, salt and pepper in tiny paper packets. This is classic we don’t care about our business or your dining experience. What really hurts a restaurant is not even knowing the names of the Vintner’s of the wines that are served?? All around terrible experience.

I love Alberto’s. It is kind of embarrassing because one waitress knows exactly what we are going to order every time we dine there. Yeah, we have our favorite dishes and while I always think I’m going to branch out, I still order the chicken and shrimp caldos. It is the best! But the fact that they know and remember us makes this place even more special. It is like dining at your Meemaw’s house (if your Meemaw is a great cook . Cozy ambiance and way better than the ubiquitous meat and three that is far too prevalent in Gallatin. Try Alberto’s. You will absolutely NOT be disappointed.

Our waitress had an off night. She asked if we wanted our food boxed up when all 4 of us were actively eating. When a member of my family asked if she could have a napkin she said I’ll bring you a bag. She spilt sauce on my cousins blouse when messing with a to go container.. the container that she messed with, also leaked so bad that it spilt all down my floorboards and car seat when we got it in the car (the bag was upright the whole time) . Spaghetti was so full of oil that my kiddo barely ate it. Normally this place is exceptional.. not sure what happened tonight.

Excellent food and wonderful desserts. Highly recommended.

What a great place for a family dinner or an intimate dinner. Saw several friends there too. Fernanda fixed me something special for me due to allergies. Everyone liked what they got. They all shared too. Our waitress was fantastic. She told us her experience in Brazil and the food. What a fun time with family.
