Pho Nam - Gaithersburg

How is this a 4.2? First of all this is no service. We had to go up to the front to ask them where we can or should seat, literally no one was greeting. Food is trash, not edible. Ordered no.1 beef noodle. The whole bowl had 5 pieces of beef. Soup tasted all MSG. Beef in the rice dish was old and over cooked and burned. And the lemonade made from powder mixture costs $4. What a joke. The worst pho restaurant.

Pretty good. Like the vermicelli beef and egg rolls. Only a 4 because the last time I did a take out the beef was kinda burnt. Should?ve checked before I left. Also I posted an updated menu. Prices are up 10-20% from the menus shown.

I wanted to give this place a chance because of the positive reviews it has. But my experience wasn?t pleasant. Customer service just isn?t there and the place could use a deep cleaning. The broth was probably one of the cloudiest I?ve ever seen. There were so many impurities as well. Lastly, the meat and noodles were below average.

This was some of the best pho I have ever had, the broth was exceptional, the size was huge, and everything was fresh!!!! The fried spring rolls are delicious too!!!!!

The food is good at this quick and easy place to enjoy Pho.  Less enjoyable is if you should arrive at after 7:30 pm then the server gentleman gets grumpy and mutters half under his breath that they are closing soon. That happened last night. We were all done by 8:10 pm but he was grumpy more several times. We ordered 3 bowls of beef noodle soup and 2 Vietnamese-style iced coffees. We will be back but try to come a bit earlier next time. BTW, they do have fish sauce but
