Cindy was so friendly and welcoming! Our food was delicious, and I loved that my brix (bratwurst) was wrapped in bread with the sauerkraut so nothing fell out while I was eating it. I can't wait to go back and try the polish sausage (pix). Do yourself a favor and order the garlic knots they were amazing! Also, don't skip the baked goods. What a delicious brownie and the toffee was also excellent!Kid friendliness: My kids loved the Foosball table and other games that were available to play. We had so much fun!
So glad I found this little restaurant with homecooked dishes, serving all meals. Includes several Vegetarian and Vegan menu items. There are lots of sandwich options on homemade bread (e.g. Reuben, Cuban, Montecristo), as well as soups, lasagna and manicotti, daily specials, 'balls ' that I didn 't try, but was told there are similar to sliders; homemade sweets, and more; and free parking. You can also pre order casseroles to bring home to the family. The restaurant was lovely and clean, and the owner was as hospitable as can be. I will definitely be back soon.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan options, including casseroles that can be pre orderedKid friendliness: Very child friendly atmosphereParking: Parking is in an empty lot diagonal across a small street
All I can say is wow, the food isn’t like anything I’ve seen in Gainesville, the bread is freshly made by the owner daily and they treat you as family. It’s nice to see such genuine people still existing, they said they treat it as a ministry where everyone can come and feel safe and that’s exactly how it felt, I couldn’t recommend this spot more <3 see ya soon CindyThey also took me back into the kitchen instantly without hesitation and I can confirm everything is tidy and clean
Very nice home feel with good food and vibes. The owners are very nice and queer friendly!
