I ordered a pickup and called in right after and asked if I could change the order to delivery. They said no problem. After an hour I called and was super nice when they told me they printed out the wrong ticket and my had just been sitting under the heat lamp for 45 minutes. They rushed the stale food to my door and the driver said if there was any issues to call back in. We threw most of the pizza away because it was gross. I called back in today to say something and was told because it wasn’t same day they wouldn’t be able to do anything. It was never explained to me that I needed to call in same day and I called less than 24 hours later. UPDATE: Called back in and spoke to the manager and explained the issue. They acknowledged this was not my fault and is willing to work with me to make things right, but still not able to fully comp the order.
I recently visited my once-favorite pizza spot, hoping to enjoy the same delightful experience that had made it my go-to place in the past. Unfortunately, this time was a complete letdown. Previously, the pizzas were consistently delicious, with perfectly crisp crusts, generous toppings, and a delightful balance of flavors. It was a spot I often recommended to friends and family, knowing they would not be disappointed. This visit, however, was drastically different. The crust was soggy and undercooked, and the toppings were sparse and unevenly distributed. The cheese, usually gooey and flavorful, was rubbery and bland. The service, which used to be prompt and friendly, was now slow and inattentive. We had to wait an unusually long time before receiving our food. It’s disheartening to see such a dramatic decline in quality and service at what used to be my favorite pizza spot. Unless significant improvements are made, I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Service was fine, the pizza was way underdone. I got sick shortly after eating. Would not recommend.
Evidently you are suppose to call ALSO even if you have notified the app via your email and even notified again because you have waited 5 minutes (I arrived 10 minutes after the proposed ready time) I press the I AM HERE again and it said I already notified them. So either Marcos Pizza has an issue with its notification process or someone does not care to look at a screen to see that I had sent notice. On any other day I would have just gone it. This is honestly the first time I had done cubside pick up anywhere since the heart of the Pandemic but I had my reasons for not getting out of the car. But I had to get out of the car as it had been 10 minutes since I arrived. A person or 2 (max) had come and gone so I got out and made my way in and after telling them their curbside sucks I was told as my pizza was handed to me that I could have called. I am sorry your sign does not say if it has been over a certain amount of time to call us at . It just states something like you will be with me as soon as you can. (not exactly these words) No need to reply with a request for a personal contact. There are plenty of pizza places or places in general to get food at. Just thought I would put it out there to save someone else the hassle if they have to do curbside and are waiting. They evidently WANT a phone call.
