Bordeaux & Friends - Fulda

Strolling the street in Fulda, I chanced across this wine tasting opportunity and chatted with the proprietor. A wine shop which also offers tastings of select wines (local and beyond), I was intrigued. After another hour of touristing, I returned to sit on the chairs...on the sidewalk and sample a luscious local white wine. With the owner and his wife and another couple, we sipped and chatted as the sun dropped to the horizon behind the hill and houses. Armed with a recommendation for dinner, I closed the shop with a smile and a warm feeling for my hosts.

While traveling in Germany I found this little but charming bar. I have had the feeling of drinking a bottle of wine in the city center of Bordeaux. The prices are really affordable and the nice staff a blonde girl) was really attentive. I...can recommend: Elixir a heavy red wine from the southern part of France.

Tolle Weine, coole Umgebung, Beratung oder auch nicht. Für einen gemütlichen Abend ist Bordeaux and friends die optimale location. Mitten in der Stadt. Auto am besten stehen lassen. Weine in allen Preislagen nur kleines Aufgeld für Gläser und 0.7 Wasser. Perfektion in Wein.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend, es gab super Weine zu guten Preisen. Aber in meinem ganzen Leben habe ich in Fulda und auch in keiner anderen deutschen Stadt, einen "Servierpreis" pro ausgeschenkter Flasche bezahlt. Das ist lächerlich und wenn man so etwas berechnet sollte man vorher darauf hinweisen. Wir sind ja schließlich nicht im Süden! Sehr schade.
