Don Jose's Mexican - Fritz Creek

Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in Homer. I Highly recommend this place enough to anyone visiting Homer. The food? Absolutely delicious

Updated review: just don’t! 2008: Has some great chips and salsa with good service. Entrees aren't the most flavorful but you're in Homer. Far from Mexican authenticity. Still a very good choice if you're not up for the salmon or halibut for another go round.

Excellent service from the spicy Latin, Latina waitress Yolanda! Their recommendations were on the spot their margaritas were excellent!

Fresh and authentic! We appreciate the authentic and fresh food. We always get at Don Jose’s. The bonus is the wonderful people who work there. We have had many of the menu items and find the servings to be generous. Ask for the special Yolandarita!! This is an awesome family who has been in Homer for a very long time. Anyone who knows them will tell you they are the most generous, hard-working folks around.

Every food was absolutely awesome, margaritas and micheladas was the best, the place to eat authentic mexican food
