Sushiyaki - Fresno

The sushi here is simple but good. You can expect solidly good food but nothing fancy. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere left something to be desired but at least it was clean.Food: 4/5

The shop interior looks old but the fried rice and sushi were good. The steak abit overcooked but it doesn’t affect the overall taste.

Sushiyaki is the perfect spot when you're crazy tepanyaki and you don't want to spend that much money. Their plates are reasonable and come with so much food. Quite honestly I usually have enough for two meals. Their plates come with fried rice, salad or sautéed carrots, and your choice of protein. I typically always get bacon fried rice, a salad, and scallops. The scallops are always perfectly cooked too. I also always get the shrimp tempura sushi roll. Another thing I love about sushiyaki is that they are so quick. You call in your order and it will be ready in 20 minutes. You don't have to sit and watch a whole show just to enjoy your food. I don't usually like it sit there and eat as it is pretty much a takeout spot, but they do have a few booths if you want to eat there.
