Ho Ho Kafe - Fresno

This restaurant has been around for a long time, and I can't believe it took me this long to finally visit. It's a hidden gem in Chinatown Fresno that doesn't get enough credit. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. When I went for lunch, the place was bustling with activity. There were small tables that could seat about 4 people each, as well as a counter with stools. Almost every seat was taken, which made me feel like we had made a good choice for lunch. The food was delicious, with generous portions and great flavors. They offer both breakfast and Chinese lunch options. I tried the ham omelet, which was served on top of crispy hashbrowns. The price was very affordable, especially compared to other cafes in town. It's definitely worth a visit, as long as you don't mind the neighborhood.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning. The place was busy, but parking was not too difficult to find. Located in a somewhat run-down area of DTF, this hole-in-the-wall establishment offers American (and a few Mexican) dishes, Chinese and Japanese plates, and soup. It may seem like an unusual combination, but it works well here as the place was consistently busy while we dined. A server quickly took our order and brought out our food promptly. I ordered the huevos con chorizo plate with pancakes on the side, and you could taste the flavor from the griddle they have been using for 15 years. The grease was delicious and added to the overall taste. The cooks were efficient, with trays of plates ready to be served. The prices are very affordable for the tasty food you receive, but be aware that they only accept cash. Customers from all walks of life come here, and I highly recommend trying it out for yourself.
