The burgers are large and hand-pressed. If they say it will be ready in 15 minutes, they mean it. The staff is friendly and helpful. There were a few times that we needed the food that was taken into the car and that was doing with a smile. You have a great menu choice, homemade food and good prices. Give them a try
The food is very delicious. From pots, beerocks (ham and Swiss Breakfast is a favorite of me) and biscuits to their macaroni and broccoli salads. I recommend the wild chicken sandwich with fries. I'm trying to stay away from Fritten, but her shoes are my weakness. The hard-working staff is very friendly. The ambience is filled with friendly, busy chatter during the busy hours, but it can also be a place where it is quiet and casual to dine. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
My dear mother-in-law brings home food from The Berrock Shop only about every other week, so I am very familiar with the food, especially the pancakes? (the screaming btw), but I had never visited the restaurant personally. Finally, last week, and it was a good experience. I guess I probably expected more German or Russian representation (or where the Berrock comes), but it seems like a normal American restaurant with friendly, helpful people working and absolutely delicious food! I ordered the western burger and only the Patty of himself felt over a lb. The bungalow was the best part, it was homemade (like its pancake 'crust) and was fluffy spicy. The frits? was fine, but then again, I would probably like better if I could still eat salt (my diet will not allow), but I ate most of them without ketchup that can only happen with GOOD pommes. All in all, yes it is great, yes it is definitely worth the favorable prices they have, and yes, I will return soon to try the pulled pig or tritip sandwich. Nutrition restrictions: Will diet without salt, or according to all the specifications I would imagine.
Had a delicious BBQ beef sandwich with mouth irrigation potato salad on the side. Great food.
I tell anyone who will listen to come to this place. The fare is simple and straightforward, but uncompromising. The berrocks are of course the classic draw, but people who love a good fresh burger are doing themselves a disservice if they havent tried this place. The pies and deli sides are escellent. The french dip is amazing. And all of this at a price that hasn't been as marred by inflation as mcdonalds. The decor is old school, feels like a diner stepped out of the early 90s, but for me its part of the charm. Great place!
