Umi Tea Ramen - Fremont

I ordered from this place two days in a row because its just so good. Yesterday I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and today the Black Garlic Oil Miso Ramen and both are really delicious. I also ordered croquettes and it was also cooked to perfection. The boba drinks that I ordered yesterday and today were also yummy as well. Everything was just great. I put this place at my "favorites" and would love to order from this place again.

I stopped by for a boba tea and chatted with the owner. I enjoyed the grapefruit guava green tea. It was delicious without being overly sweet, just perfect. The owner was serving us and came out to chat with us. A very nice man. ?Food: 5/5

It was a revelation to have such Authentic and totally fresh Ramen experience at UMI. A must try with plenty of vegetarian options on the menu too.Food: 5/5

Overall very clean place. Decent portion sizes. The ramen itself was okay: the black garlic oil miso ramen was a bit too greasy as was the pork that came in both that one as well as the classic ramen. A bit pricey for what you get, but it comes with a good amount of noodles. Something to consider: it costs extra to add any amount of spicy level extra for any toppings. .75 for level 1, 1.50 for level 2, and 2 for level 3. We got level 1 for the black garlic ramen and it was mild. We got level 2 spicy for the classic ramen and it was a good amount of spicy-ness. Toppings included in the price were 2 slices of pork, some sort of bamboo shoot type things (very good), half an egg, some mushrooms, and green onion.

Not the best ramen I’ve had.Fried chicken on the side wasn’t cooked all the way, and the egg tasted fishy.However the lady in the front was very friendly but wouldn’t come back for the ramen again.
