Fremont is 28% Indian, so we travelled just for some more authentic cuisine.*Chai 6/10 (box mix, sweet)*Chicken Momos 10/10 (Appetizer dumplings. Comes with an orange dipping sauce. Not doughy Chicken Tandoori 8/10*Chili Chicken 5/10 (Not your typical chili chicken. Expected that, based on the menu description.... Pretty meh all around Butter Chicken 8/10 (Sweeter than any I've had, but it works Naan 3/10 (not fresh, dried out, burnt)*Rice 7/10 (tasted like it was made many hours ago, but excellently spiced like biryani Service 10/10 (No one speaks much English, but everyone's attentive without being pushy Ambiance 7/10 Inside, there's loud American music bright lights. Outside, there's plenty of seating, with heaters and soft lighting in an enclosed space.
This place used to be amazing. Recently quality has gone down. We went today and ordered a shrimp dish, fish pakora, and cut mirchi. Shrimp was over cooked, fish was stale and cut mirchi was very dry. We left before ordering the main course
Indian bar, awesome to have drinks with Indian appetizers. The staff is awesome.
Good food, though a bit salty. Somewhat limited menu. Unclear how much English the waiter understood. Nice (covered) outdoor seating area.
