How many people had the tap juice this day? As we pointed out, very embarrassing, surprisingly, there was no excuse or even an offer to refund. You're drunk. I think success has gone in their heads and they think that their low prices are enough to convince you to ignore only the complete lack of hygiene. I'm sorry we can't. Our child was with us and this can cause serious illness. Also due to their non-chalant attitude, they lost a loyal customer this day.
Phenomenal place for great south Indian food. Loved the vada and dosas. They have delicious Sambhar and three types of yummy chatni along with dosa and vada. They also have very delicious samosas with yummy imli chatni. Just love the flavor which we are not able to find for samosas nearby.Food: 5/5
I was in town for work and had the opportunity to try out several dosa restaurants. This one was the best by far and tasted the most like homemade dosas. It was also more affordable than the others. After reading reviews, it seems like there may be some sort of dosa competition going on in Fremont because the places that were highly recommended or had good reviews were just okay. Dosa Place is not your typical restaurant; it's more of a counter-style setup with a few tables. One suggestion would be to make the potatoes in the dosas more chunky.
Ordered Gobi Manchurian, Szechuan noodles and chole bhatura. Gobi Manchurian was salty and there was a bitter after-taste, noodles tasted bland and no flavor and chole bhatura was just oily and curry didn’t taste good. Quality went downhill since our last visit. I will avoid this place at all costs.Food: 1/5
This restaurant is a disappointment. My experience today was subpar - I ordered Masala dosa and vada sambar. The dosa was decent, but the potato bhaji inside was terrible. We were given three different chutneys, with the green one being overly spicy. The other two were bland and unappealing. The sambar was too spicy and did not taste good. I ended up paying $10 for the dosa, and $9.50 for two poorly cooked vadas. This visit was overall unsatisfactory and I regret not spending my money at Chat bhavan instead. I would advise against visiting this place.
